FAMOUS BUCKHORN CURIO MUSEUM in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

A Carnival Funhouse called the DEVIL'S INN at
THE WILDWOODS BY THE SEA in NEW JERSEY.
Only in Jersey would you have to pay to walk in between a gorilla's legs!

AND THIS IS BUSHMAN!

BUSHMAN lived at CHICAGO'S LINCOLN PARK ZOO and died in 1951. In the two
decades on display, BUSHMAN attracted 100 million visitors. He can now be
seen in the basement of the FIELD MUSEUM - he's a tad stiff these days.

This is SUSIE, "The world's only trained gorilla".
She made her home at the CINCINNATI ZOO in the 1940s.

This is a creepy gorilla named PHIL.
He hung out at the ST. LOUIS ZOO in the 1940s.

ALFRED was an appropriately proper gorilla in the BRISTOL ZOO in 1938.

On the left is an early 1909 gorilla glimpse from an educational postcard.
On the right is a 1930s card from THE NEW YORK ZOOLOGICAL PARK.
